Capture bacteria, viruses and protozoa using the VelPro 200 continuous flow centrifuge and the VirocCap sampling capsule.  The system is simple to operate and permits the bacteria in the CFC bowl to be analyzed in one lab while the capsule filter can be sent to another laboratory for virus testing.
The system continues to evolve at SMI to permit sampling to be controlled by either a remote wireless sensor or by an operator using the internet.
